Try Oxy Clean it works on coffee stains .I do however suggest you test it on a spot before you use it over a big area because some fabrics take to it differently.... : )

Reply:There are products on the market which will do a great job. The rule of thumb is to find out if the stain is an acid or a base. If it is a base, you get a cleaner that is acid. Conversely, if it is an acid, you get a cleaner that is base. This is called neutralization.





Coffee is an acid so you need to get a cleaner that is a base to neutralize it. This will make sure you don%26#039;t discolor or ruin the carpet fibers especially the fibers which are in the nap unseen to naked eye. The PH factor of the cleaning solution is what will neutralize the acid. Talk to the hardware store for more info.
Reply:I use resolve carpet cleaner, for spots, and stains, it works really well.. Spray the spot real good, let it soak, for about 30 minutes, then get a putty knife, and scrape over the stain, gently. That will loosen it up.. Take a few paper towels, lay them down on the spot, and put some pressure on them, to soak it up good.. Then spray it again, and go over it, with a scrubbing brush, and repeat the first step. The carpet should be clean, now, just vacuum the spot to get any loose particles..Looks good now!!! Good Luck..

I have a new lilac carpet and I banned food %26amp; drinks from the room but no-one listens to me %26amp; someone spilt coffee on it (I don%26#039;t know when), but I just got some kids wet wipes and it got the stain up %26amp; they smell nice (%26amp; they%26#039;re cheap - I also use them to wipe down my walls to get kids finger prints %26amp; stuff off them).





Multi purpose.
